Hebrews 10:14
" 14 For by that one offering He perfected forever all those whom He is making holy."
Philippians 3:12
" 12 I don't mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection! But I keep working toward that day when I will finally be all that Christ Jesus saved me for and wants me to be."
The second part of the second verse has always stood out to me. It brings me hope. I know that I'm not perfect, no where near it in fact, but through the power & grace of God I can continue in my quest to achieve perfection; to achieve godliness. I know I'll never get there while I'm here, but I also know that God has reserved perfection for me when I go home, for all of eternity.
