A Temple of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 3:16
" 16 Don't you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?"

1 Corinthians 6:19
" 19 Or don't you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself,"


When reading/hearing about being a temple of the Holy Spirit, I'm used to 1 Corinthians 6:19 where it talks about as individuals we are the temple of the Holy Spirit, but the verse in 1 Corinthians 3:16 put it in a different context, and honestly confused me for a bit. Not only are we as individuals the temple for the Holy Spirit, but we as the body of Christ are also the temple of the Holy Spirit. It really shouldn't have been so confusing for me. I love that though. The Holy Spirit dwells in us. God didn't send the Holy Spirit to live just on earth, but to live in US. How neat is that? And not just us as individuals, but us as the body of Christ. It's so simple, and  just so neat =]
